Dental Hygienist

Meet Heather, our dedicated dental hygienist. Heather is a proud graduate of Chattanooga State and has been a crucial member of our team since 2014. With her passion for dentistry and helping others, she has been uplifting our practice with her skills and warm personality for nearly a decade.

Heather's daily responsibilities span a wide range of important tasks. She takes x-rays, examines and treats periodontal disease, conducts oral cancer screenings, and educates our patients on their oral health. She also places dental sealants, performs preventive cleanings, and ensures sterilization for maximum patient safety.

One of Heather's favorite aspects of her job is the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with our patients and their families. She enjoys the one-on-one time she spends with each individual, listening to their stories, addressing their concerns, and helping them on their journey toward better oral health. 

When asked what attracted her to the dental field, Heather highlights the flexible hours and great pay. However, her passion for helping others and making them smile plays a crucial role too.

Away from the office, Heather stays active by wake surfing at Dale Hollow, hitting the slopes for some snow skiing, and keeping up a regular workout routine. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, watching movies, and running a unique side business of making cake pops available at her pharmacy.
